Legend of a Suicide - David Vann This guy is a good writer and he uses writing for one of its better purposes: to fix what cannot be fixed. He is able to convey a deep feeling of something being much more wrong than it seems until it suddenly becomes truly tragic. There are just a few minor editing problems, such as the use of the word flower instead of flour and a sheep on a mountain in Southeast Alaska, but not enough to keep a reader from becoming immersed.
